Event Booking FAQ
The best way to book is by filling out the form on my Contact Us page. This form gives me all the information I need to check availability and prepare a quote for you.
If I’m available and you’d like to secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee is required.
Please note: bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee has been paid.
Please don’t hesitate to email me. If I’m booked, I’ll always do my best to help you find an available time. For school balls, I often have another hair and/or makeup artist available to assist on the day.
I accept bookings up to 12 months in advance.
Yes. For events like school balls or special occasions, I suggest booking a hair trim beforehand, where we can discuss the look you’re after for your special day.
For bridal bookings, I recommend a trial so you feel 100% comfortable before the big day.
You can absolutely have a trial first. However, due to high demand, I cannot hold dates pending a trial. To secure your wedding date, the booking fee must be paid, otherwise it may be booked by someone else.
I recommend booking your trial 2–3 months before your wedding. If your wedding falls during peak season (September–April), consider booking 4 months in advance to ensure you get your preferred date.
Unfortunately, no. Weekends are reserved for regular appointments, events, and bridal bookings. Trials require extra time and flexibility, which I can only offer on weekdays.
Yes, absolutely. Mobile services are available for bookings that meet a minimum spend of $650 (excluding travel fees and parking).
For locations over an hour away, the minimum spend increases (e.g. $950 for South West WA bookings).
Absolutely. I am available for destination weddings. A travel fee (round trip) applies, and in some cases, accommodation costs will need to be covered.
As early as needed. For start times before 6:00 am, an early bird surcharge applies.
Yes, I have an experienced team I can call on to speed up the schedule if needed.
No. Larger groups usually require more stylists and additional logistics, so discounts aren’t available.
Wash your hair the day or night before and ensure it’s clean and completely dry.
Shampoo twice, focusing on the roots.
Use a small amount of conditioner on the ends only, then rinse well.
Do not apply styling products, oils, or serums.
If your hair is frizzy or curly and not being styled naturally, blow-dry it straight using a round brush — do not use a straightener.
If you’re not comfortable prepping your hair yourself, I can provide a blow-dry service for an additional fee.
Please don’t! Wet hair requires extra time to dry and will incur an additional charge.
Have your eyebrows and upper lip waxed prior to your booking. If you have excess facial hair, please speak with your beautician to have it removed — foundation will not sit properly over fine hair.
In the days leading up to your appointment, use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser, and stay well hydrated.
Arrive with a clean, bare face — no moisturiser, no SPF.
If you have sensitive eyes, take an antihistamine 30 minutes before your appointment.
I don’t supply them, but I’m happy to order a set for you that will be yours to keep. You’re also welcome to provide your own.
Yes, but I’ll need to check that they’re the right type. I don’t style synthetic or heat-resistant fibre extensions, as they don’t curl or hold shape properly.
No, but I can guide you on where to find beautiful pieces that will suit your hairstyle.
No, but I’m happy to recommend trusted professionals.
Unfortunately, all booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Absolutely! I can work with you on a hair care plan, recommend colour and trim options, and offer skincare and facial treatment advice to help you look and feel your best.
