Travel Information

 

We offer a mobile service and are happy to travel to your chosen location.
Travel fees are based on distance and start from $2 per kilometre (round trip).

If free parking is not available at your location, parking costs must be covered.
For hotel venues, valet parking will be included in your final fee.

In-Studio

 

If you’re attending my studio, parking is available at the front and around the cul-de-sac. Please be mindful not to park on neighbours’ lawns.
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed directions and arrival information for the salon.

Accommodation for Destination Weddings and Events

 

If you’re booking a destination wedding or event in the South West, WA, accommodation expenses must be covered. These will be quoted individually based on your location (POA).

​

Mobile Service Requirements

​

To access our mobile service, one of the following minimums must be met:

• A minimum of three services (e.g. hair = 1 service, makeup = 1 service)
  OR

• A minimum spend of $650 (excluding travel and parking)

You’re welcome to mix and match hair and makeup services to reach the three-service minimum.
If your location is more than one hour away, the minimum service requirement may increase depending on travel time.

Early Start Surcharge

​

If your booking requires a start time before 6:00 am, an early bird surcharge applies:

• $110 per hour, per stylist/artist

• Charged in 30-minute increments
  Example: a 4:30 am start = $150 early bird surcharge

 

Booking fee:

A booking fee is required to secure and confirm your appointment. No payment = no booking.
The minimum booking fee is $50 per service, per person, and is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
For locations requiring over two hours of travel, or bookings in the South West, an additional 30% of the travel fee and any accommodation deposits may apply. These are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If your booking is made for the following year, please allow for a 10% price increase, unless payment of the full amount is made before the new year.

Booking changes: 

​

If your group numbers decrease, the $50 per person, per service booking fee is retained for anyone who cancels.
For example, if five makeup services are booked and paid for and one person drops out, the $50 for that person is forfeited. The remaining balance per person will be deducted from the final total.
You may substitute another person in place of the cancelled guest to retain the value of the booking.

Punctuality: 

Bookings are scheduled based on an allocated timeframe. If delays occur and you require us to stay longer, additional fees may apply.
In some cases, we may not be able to extend your time, especially if there are bookings after yours.
Please ensure all members receiving services are on time. If you are unsure about arrival times for specific people, feel free to ask — we are here to help ensure your event runs smoothly.

Important notes: 

​

The credit for travel booking fees can only be applied to travel-related costs.
No refund or transfers are available if your event is cancelled due to illness or personal travel restrictions.
All other cancellations or reschedules, including sickness or travel changes, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Unforeseen circumstances: 

​

If we are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, we will make every effort to find a suitable replacement.
If this is not possible, any monies paid will be refunded in full.
No further compensation will be provided.

Health & safety: 

Please inform us immediately if anyone in your party is unwell.
We reserve the right to decline service if we believe a health risk is present.

Late cancellations: 

 

If your booking is cancelled within one month of the event, we reserve the right to invoice the full balance, payable within 14 days of cancellation.

Hair Preparation Terms & Conditions

To ensure the best styling results, please follow the steps below:

​

Before your appointment:

​

• Wash your hair the day or night before so it is clean and completely dry.

• Shampoo twice, avoid heavy conditioner, and rinse thoroughly with a cleansing shampoo (I’m happy to advise which is best to use).

• Do not apply any serums, oils, or styling products.

• If your hair is frizzy or curly and you are not wearing it natural, blow-dry it straight using a round brush.

• Do not use a straightener.

• Please book in prior for a hair trim and complimentary consultation — this applies to all school ball clients to trim hair and discuss the desired end result.

On the day:

​

• Do not arrive with wet hair. Wet hair requires extra time and will incur additional charges.

• If blow-drying is difficult for you (especially with coarse or curly hair), we recommend booking a professional blow-dry the day before your event.

• Remind your stylist not to use a straightener.

Please ensure that all clients receiving hair services follow these preparation instructions.
This helps us stay on schedule and ensures everyone’s hair looks its absolute best.
